PRIVATE RESIDENCE
This building in the heart of Paris was formerly used as storage of a pre-Columbian art gallery. Architect Véronique Cotrel transformed it into an incredible private residence with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, as well as a modular space that could be transformed into a guest room, on the ground floor. This modular room can be easily isolated from the living room by a large sliding door. A change of flooring makes the space delimited from the rest of the house. The unstructured layout of Oscar Ono’s Forêt endgrain flooring perfectly contrasts and compliments the Burgundy stone that was used in the rest of the living area.
