One of our signature techniques is the handburning technique of wood surfaces, which not only enhances its beauty but also hardens the surface and and contribute to the high resistance. To achieve unique looks, we use a variety of organic reactive liquids that interact with the wood, creating distinctive and captivating finishes which leads to highly crafted surfaces in an uncompromising quality.
ForÊt, Opus and Qubes Line
Oscar Ono Paris drew inspiration for its Forêt, Qubes, and Opus collections from the history of wooden cobblestone streets in 19th century Paris. The history of wooden end-grain cobblestone streets is a fascinating story of innovation in urban planning and road construction. Popular in the 19th and early 20th centuries, these streets were known for their durability and acoustic appeal. By bringing this tradition into the modern era, we offer flooring solutions that are not only beautiful, but also incredibly resilient. Our end-grain floors are unmatched in the industry, offering distinctive designs and superior durability that competitors can’t match.
