AD Intérieurs, Monnaie de Paris

Project context

At AD Intérieurs 2016, inside the Monnaie de Paris, Raphael Navot built a room that asked visitors to slow down. He called it a gallery of meditative imprints, and it drew the eye to the floor. The floor was the work: endgrain oak laid by hand as a drawing, straight runs shifting direction until, at the center, the lines gather into a circle. That floor became Forêt. The circle became Rosace. It was the first time OscarOno laid a Navot drawing, and the start of a dialogue that has not stopped since.
