Bernardaud

Bernardaud's Tokyo retail space uses OSCARONO PARIS Hongrie end-grain oak flooring in the Naturel finish, designed with Daniel Gnaedig in 2023. Bernardaud is a long-established French porcelain maison, and this project pairs ceramics craftsmanship with a tactile oak surface underfoot. The modular pattern creates a calm geometric rhythm suited to circulation-heavy retail use while preserving the handmade grain variation of end-grain oak. The floor was specified for durability, acoustic comfort and visual warmth in a compact urban boutique context.
