In Neuilly-sur-Seine, an apartment opens onto a terrace larger than itself, and the light comes in from every side. Noémie Stellar set marble against wood and let the two answer each other. The wood is Cube: solid endgrain oak, squared and quiet, made from what remained of our own production. Beside the veined stone it reads like a second, warmer marble. Nothing here raises its voice. The floor least of all.
